Sarah styled Rosario Dawson’s hair for the Brotherhood Sister Sol, Inc. Voices Benefit Silent Auction at Espace on May 5, 2011 in New York City. With soft waves framing her face, the actress looked stunning at the event, where she was honored with the Frida Kahlo Award for Innovative Creativity.  The Brotherhood Sister Sol organization provides guidance, holistic and long-term support services to young people. Dawson, who is dedicated to charitable work, looked flawless as she took the stage to accept her award. For her soft, sultry waves, Rosario Dawson has the Look of the Week!

LOOK OF THE WEEK: MILA KUNIS

For the White House Correspondents Dinner in Washington D.C., Sarah style Mila Kunis’ hair in a sleek high ponytail. The elegant hairstyle was the perfect compliment to accentuate her gorgeous, long black dress. Often relegated to workout sessions or bad hair day fixes, the ponytail can slip by unnoticed. But, you want the truth?  The truth is that the ponytail an underestimated classic. When styled properly, the ponytail is chic, elegant and glam…and Mila Kunis is a perfect example of how to rock the ponytail! To style this look on yourself, follow Sarah’s simple steps after the jump!

1) Apply Aussie Mouse + Leave-In Conditioner and Blow dry

2) Using the SARAH POTEMPA Ceramic Styling Iron, take 1″ sections and iron from root to ends for smooth, shiny locks

3) Spray Aussie’s Sprunch Spray on a boar-bristle/nylon flat brush and pull hair into a high ponytail.

4) Look up while securing ponytail for a clean finish.

5) Wrap a small piece of hair around the ponytail to hide the holder

LOOK OF THE WEEK: APRIL 25, 2011

Sarah styled Lucia Micarelli’s hair in a textured bun for the NYC premiere of HBO’s Treme. With her vintage -inspired  navy blue dress, which we absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE, and red peep-toe heels, the low bun was the perfect hairstyle…so understated and chic! Sarah pulled Lucia’s hair back in a relaxed, textured bun, creating movement in the style, which is a gorgeous look for this natural beauty! And, with the intricacies of her dress, this hairstyle compliments the ensemble, rather than overshadows it. For this great red carpet hairstyle, Lucia Micarelli has our Look of the Week! So kudos….and check out Treme!!
