NOVEMBER, 2010

November 9th- Glamour Photo Shoot in NYC!

November 8th- Working with Christina Coh for a makeover of @mymmshops!

November 6th-7th- Jake Gyllenhaal for LOVE AND OTHER DRUGS…press conference all weekend!

November 4th- Working with the beautiful and talented Emily Deschanel for a media tour and Letterman!

November 3rd- On my way to style Ben Stiller’s hair for an event in nyc.

November 2nd- Another day with Zach for Jimmy Fallon!  Then off to style Mary-KAte and Ashley Olsen for the 100th anniversary of WWD.

November 1st- Zach Galifianakis is in town and I’m styling his hair for the today show!

OCTOBER, 2010

October 28th- My favorite, Minka Kelly, is going to an event tonight and I’ll be styling her hair

October 27th- Styling Gerard Butler for an event in nyc!

October 26th- Fly in and out today for a haircut and lunch!

October 25th- Michael J Fox haircut in the morning and then off to a Danish Elle editorial…high ponytails and wind= amazing!

October 24th- Editorial today for Danish Elle styling all the iconic female looks..can’t wait for the pics!

October 22nd- Amazing photo shoot today with Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway..their new movie, LOVE AND OTHER DRUGS, looks amazing!

October 20th – Catherine Hicks (mom from 7th heaven!) had a satellite media tour and I styled her hair! Then I’m off to Jake Gyllenhaal’s!

October 14th- Fly to Chicago to work with the actress Cecile de France!

October 13th- Glamour magazine photo shoot…tons of models, real girls, and fun hairstyles- braids, side ponies, curls, waves, and twists…love it!

October 10th-12th Working with the beautiful French actress Cecile de France and the talented makeup artist Linda Hay!

October 8th- Photo shoot with Jake Gyllenhaal!

October 4th-6th- Promoting “My Soul to Take” with Max Thieriot..went to CW Mornign News, Wendy Williams, Spike TV, and the Premiere!

October 2nd- With Max Thieriot today for the press of the WEs Craven Movie ” My Soul to Take.”  After, I’m heading to the NY film festival to style PAul Reubans (aka Pee Wee Herman) and Jake Gyllenhall for Q & As!

October 1st- Another great day with the super cool Josh Duhamel.  He’s doing so many great movies!

SEPTEMBER, 2010

September 30th- Today I’m working with Josh Duhamel today!

September 29th- Working on a CNN interview with Michael J Fox, one of my favorite clients! Then heading back over to get Mary-Kate and Ashley ready for an event at Saks Fifth Avenue!

September 27th- Styling Vera Farmiga for the opening of the Met Opera!  She is so beautiful and pregnant, wearing a long white Marchesa gown!

September 26th- Olivia Munn…so funny! Styling her hair today for a myspace live Social Network event!

September 24th- Styling the cute Brenda Song for the Social Network press and then heaading over to get KAtie Cassidy ready for the premiere of the Social Network!

September 23rd- Photo Shoot with Ethan Hawke!

September 22nd- Josh Brolin on Jimmy Fallon tonight..my favorite backstage rooms! Jimmy has old ATari cases, girlscout patches, and cool birds hanging on the walls..haha!  Then heading over to get Minka Kelly ready for a SELF Magazine event!

September 21st- Simon Baker..Regis, Letterman!

September 20th- Josh Brolin! Wall Street 2

September 18th- Styling hair at the MAC Pro Studio in nyc.  Working with models, make-up artists, and photographer to create beautiful images…can’t wait to see the pics!

September 16th- BAck in NYC for fashion week! Styled hair backstage for Gwen Stefani’s LAMB show! The hair was amazing..created by the talented Danilo, we braided, twisted and curled hair into super trendy cool high buns!

September 14th- In Chicago, one of my favorite cities, for a potential job!  Great time seeing the family!

September 13th- Spending the day with Chris O’Donnell promoting his new TV show NCIS: Los Angeles! We went up on the Intrepid for one of the Interviews!  Then rushed to the airport for my first flight with Grayson (at 2 months old!)

September 10th- FASHION’s NIGHT OUT! I’m styling Mary-Kate and Ashley for the second year in a row..last year bartending..this year karaoke- all open to the public at Barneys!

September 8th – Bright and early at the today show and Regis and Kelly…Brolin making us laugh all day!!!

September 8th- Josh Brolin..press for the second Wall Street movie!

September 7th- Josh Duhamel in town for the press and premiere of his movie “The Romantics” with Katie Holmes, Elijah Wood, and Anna Paquin

September 6th – Lyn Devon Look Book! Great team of Photographer Andrew Yee, Makeup Artist Keri Blair, and stylist Suzanne.  Getting ready for fashion week and back in the studio!

AUGUST, 2010

August 26th- Worked today with 2 of my favorite online girls, Katherine Power and Hilary Kerr of the website WhoWhatWear.

August 11th- Heading to Mary-Kate Olsen’s place to get her ready for a day at City Hall with Anna Wintour and Mayor Bloomberg to promote Fashion’s Night Out…can’t wait. MK and Ashley were guest bartenders last year as I styled both of their hair for the event.  This year they are planning to run a karaoke night (open to the public!) at Barney’s!!

August 10th- Josh Brolin and I are headed to the iconic Charlie Rose show.  After, he is heading to the premiere of Eat, Pray, Love which I can’t wait to see! Julia Roberts is amazing!

August 9th- Working in nyc with the talented Josh Brolin for the premiere of his new movie!

August 6th- Getting Gorgeous all day today with over 350 female bloggers from across the country…what an amazing way to be introdued to the blogging world! We ran a hairstyling trivia game, talked to a lot of amazing moms, and gave away our feather hair clips with a vintage inspired updo tip card!!

August 5th- Erin just flew in from Chicago to get ready for our blogger event this friday!!  She handmade 200 feather clips.  We are so excited to meet all the bloggers! www.gettinggorgeousevents.com

August 2nd- Today was my first day back after having our baby!  It felt great to be in the city again at a beautiful hotel styling a super chic LA girl, Lindsay Sloane.  Lindsay is in the new Will Farrel movie The Other Guys and I was styling her hair for the premiere!  We did a fun, rocker ponytail to contrast her red Mad Man inspired dress!

JULY, 2010

July 7th- We had our son, Grayson James Kennedy today!! 7 lbs. 7oz.  on 7/7…a lucky baby!  This means that I’ll be away from the daily grind of styling and running around Manhattan..check back in August for some exciting new adventures!

July 1st- Shot an editorial for VOGUE today with 2 amazing models! The pictures were timeless, chic, and the hair was fun…will post them when they get published this fall!

JUNE, 2010

June 30th- Met M. Night’s family (all very talented musicians!) and got them ready for the premiere!

June 29th- M. Night Shaymalan starts to promote his movie The Last Airbender, which we are all really excited to see!

June 28th- Another great day with Nikky Blonsky…

June 25th – Spent the day with Nikki Blonsky! So much fun doing her hair, driving through times square to see her billboard, and working with one of my favorite makeup artists, Gita Bass!  Check out Nikki’s new tv show on ABC Family called HUGE.

June 24th – Shot makeovers all day for an upcoming fall magazine!  Great crew, fun looks, and a cool downtown manhattan location..will post the pictures when they come out in a couple months!

June 23rd- Kate Walsh for morning shows..today we did messy waves that looked great on her short hair!

June 22nd – Styled Kim Kadashian’s amazingly long, dark hair today!  We styled it in loose, sexy waves…watch a video here to get the look.

June 21st – Worked upstate today with the talented and fun photographer Cass Bird shooting another editorial due out this fall!

June 17th – Watch Kate Walsh on the View!  She has beautiful red hair that I loved styling.  As the star of TV shows such as Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice, Kate is now starring in an off-broadway show titled DUSK RINGS A BELL.

June 16th – Today I did an amazing, 70s inspired photo shoot with Actress Emma Stone, of Zombieland and Superbad fame.  The photographer, Guy Aroch, uses unusal lighting techniques to create a sense of a timeless era and feeling of fog.  I can’t wait to share the pictures!  One of the most talented makeup artists, Linda Hay, was also on the set doing a smoky eye and natural lip!

June 15th – Camilla Alves, the host of the Bravo show Shear Genius,  is in new york and I am getting her ready for an event tonight!  Check back for pictures soon.

June 14th – So excited to see Selma Blair again as she is back in town!

June 13th – Heading upstate to the Rolling Stone Ranch to shoot a great editorial with Cass Bird!  The model was beautiful and the day was the absolute perfect hair day for her…can’t wait to show you the pictures!

June 1th – Working with Rachel Zoe again for a photo shoot! Love her textured hair and amazing fashion sense..I always leave wanting to put on more jewelry and go shopping!!

June 10th – Back at the Vogue offices in Times Square, today was exciting and glamourous, getting models ready to present a collection from designer Juan Carlos Obando to the fashion icon, Anna Wintour!

June 9th – Spent the day with the talented stylist and friend, Rachel Zoe, as she presented her new Fall collection for QVC! So excited to see all the new pieces! Check back later for links to her air dates on the show!

June 8th, 2010 - Marisa Miller was in town again for Cosmo’s 2010 practice safe sun awards luncheon at Hearst Tower in NYC!  She had amazing hair to style!

June 7th, 2010 – Today I did makeovers for 3 lucky winners, and all new moms, for American Baby, with my friend Tracy Perez of Parents magazine!  Sometimes the simple hair tips can make a huge difference.  I can’t wait to see how the before and after pictures!   Then in the afternoon, I headed down to soho to get Rachel Zoe ready for the CFDA Fashion Awards!  See pics of the event here…

June 3rd, 2010 – Morning press with cute young actor, Hutch Dano! Super early morning in the hotel, but I did see the top 2 American Idol contestants in the lobby…and have to say, I love Crystal Bowersox’s hair!
